A Charlotte, NC native and self-professed “city-country” boy, Colby Lewis is someone who simply loves to create what he imagines as authentically as possible.

An alumnus of the University of Connecticut, he received his MFA in Acting Performance in 2014. After landing roles like Cassius Clay in Denver Center’s One Night in Miami, and Anthony in Jerry Mitchell’s Gotta Dance, Colby was cast in the Chicago production of Hamilton the musical. During that time he founded his creative outfit, Dreamchild Inc, was promoted to the roles of Marquis De Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson full time, all while recurring on NBC’s Chicago Med as Student Doctor Terry McNeal. Most recently he was seen recurring on The Blacklist, guest starring on Blue Bloods and Law & Order or performing his own original material in Kenny Leon’s Hamlet at the Public’s Delacorte Theater.

A deeply curious and spiritual human, athlete, musician, and proud home chef(just ask), Colby attempts to live by the question, “What is true?”
